  • Cloud-based Device to Flash Microcontrollers (ECUs or Others)
    Setup and migration of a bootloader to flash a STM32H5 platform,enhancing system reliability and performance.
  • Brake Control ECU Project
    • Developed software for an automotive customer, focusing on optimizing functionality and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
    • Main activities included the implementation and maintenance of automotive software using C and other specific tools like Geny, CANoe, Candela, and Tresos.

    • Implemented model layers and solutions for new requirements.

CODE Ingeniería

May 2019 to May 2020, Programador Embebido. Research and development of embedded systems, focused on Linux and Android environments. In these projects, Octavio worked with NXP devices such as i.MX8 and i.MX6 SoCs. The main tools used were Yocto Project and Android sources to set up and configure embedded systems for diverse applications and customers. Specific tasks included:

  • Configured and adapted display and touchpad drivers for Sabre SD board-based hardware.
  • Calibrated RAM and Flash memory for an i.MX6-based device.
  • Supported a customer in using and configuring the NXP eCockpit system.
  • Researched and supported customers in using the SCFW (System Controller Firmware) on NXP i.MX8QM and i.MX8QX based development boards.
